New CCO Certification for Telehandler Operators Launches
CCO is announcing the first accredited telehandler operator certification that meets OSHA 1926 and OSHA 1910 requirements. Candidates will be able to apply for the new exams as early as December 1, the same day that the practical exams will be first available.
CCO Moves to Grant Full Certification Cycles
CCO will be debundling certification cycles to ensure that most candidates receive the full term of their certification period.

CONEXPO 2023 will provide an excellent opportunity to get up to speed on what’s new at CCO. The event—the largest construction show in North America—will be held March 14–18, 2023, in Las Vegas, NV.
CCO Announces New myCCO Portal, an Account Portal for All CCO Candidates and Customers
The updated myCCO portal website is the one-stop shop to create candidate and customer accounts, apply for certification exams, and see exam results and certifications. Sets the stage for launch of new exam modalities.
Call for Volunteers: Evaluators of Crane Operators Needed to Develop New CCO Credential
To help the industry comply with OSHA requirements for crane operators to be evaluated, CCO has announced plans to develop the first national credential for evaluators of crane operators. To create the strongest program possible, CCO seeks the expertise of those who are currently serving as evaluators of crane operators to serve on the task force that will develop this credential.
2023 Candidate Exam Fees Set
Beginning January 1, 2023, CCO’s candidate fee structure will be updated to include both EOT and Online Proctored Testing (OPT) options, as well as reduced fees for computer-based testing (CBT), and an adjustment to practical exam fees.
CCO Announces Mobile Crane Operator Certification Program Modifications
Effective January 2023, the structure of CCO’s Mobile Crane Operator Program will see two updates that will simplify the program, create consistency, and improve the overall testing process.
CCO to Develop Credential for Crane Operator Evaluators
CCO is set to develop a credential for crane operator evaluators that will meet OSHA regulations. By offering this credential, CCO hopes to bring some clarity and uniformity to evaluations, to make evaluations more reliable and defensible, and to establish a “gold standard” for the qualification of crane operator evaluators.
CCO to Move Written Exam Delivery into the Digital Age
CCO is excited to announce its technology initiative to move all written exams to the computer.
New CCO Certification for Concrete Pump Operators Now Available
Candidates may now apply and take the exam for the new CCO Concrete Pump Operator certification.
